It was a fun and educational activity for the kids, and we got to see firsthand how tea is made. The tour guide was friendly and informative, and the scenic views from the estate were breathtaking. Highly recommended for families!
My wife says that it would be great if Mc Queen Homestay had a small playground or outdoor area for children to play.

The location of this homestay is fantastic - nestled in a quiet neighborhood, it offers a serene environment perfect to recap the day while being surrounded by the magical sounds of the Sri Lankan forest. It is also conveniently close to everything, including major tourist sites, making it easy to explore the area. the rooms and bathrooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. the hosts go out of their way to ensure their guests have a comfortable stay, providing services like transportation and organizing day trips. the breakfasts are delicious, with dishes like coconut pancakes and traditional Sri Lankan cuisine. the homestay offers amenities like a fridge and hammocks to enjoy.
It's unfortunate that credit cards are not accepted at this homestay, and having an option for a second towel would be a great addition.

The staff, especially Susilla, were friendly and provided excellent advice. The Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious, and the location was great - close enough to the main strip but still quiet. The owner, Danushka, even offered a taxi service. I highly recommend this homestay.
